What European windows and doors cost
Almost nobody in this category publishes a number. We do, because the first thing you want to know is whether this is even the right conversation.
The ranges below are for reference — real pricing depends on your openings, so treat these as a way to size up the project, not a quote. Everything shown is supplied and delivered to your site. Installation is separate.
Per opening
Reference ranges
Aluminum, double glazed, powder coated in any RAL colour, screens included, delivered to site. Before sales tax and freight — both are shown further down.
Operable windows
Tilt & turn, casement, awning, sliding
Fixed and picture windows
Swing and french doors
Sliding, bifold and lift & slide doors
Large-format single units
Oversized picture and wide sliding windows
Window ranges assume a standard opening of roughly 16 sq ft up to a large one of about 32 sq ft — the sizes most of a house is made of.
Smaller units price below these ranges
: a compact tilt & turn around 12 sq ft runs closer to $850, and a small fixed pane under $500. A single oversized unit is priced on the large-format line above. Door ranges span a single leaf up to a wide multi-panel run. Anything beyond that, we price directly.
Driver 1
Size
Aluminum is priced by area, so a large unit costs proportionally more than a small one of the same type. Doubling the glass roughly doubles the price.
Driver 2
How it opens
A fixed pane is the cheapest thing we make. Operable units carry hardware. Sliding and folding doors carry the most of it.
Driver 3
Glazing
Double is standard and is what the ranges above assume. Triple adds about 11% across a whole project.

What a whole house actually comes to
Reference ranges tell you what one window costs. This is the number people actually want — a complete package, delivered, with nothing left off.

What is and isn’t in the price
Included
Premium multi-point locking hardware
One specification. There is no cheaper tier to quote against — every unit gets the same hardware.
Insect screens
Mesh is included on operable units rather than quoted as an extra.
Powder coating, any RAL colour
Including a different colour inside and out at no change to the price.
Delivery to your site
Freight is a separate line, but the price is delivered — not collected from a port or a yard.
Not included
Installation
Quoted separately once we’ve seen the openings.
Freight
Charged per container. See the note below on order size.
Sales tax
Applied at the North Carolina rate on the product total.
Structural openings and finishing
Framing, flashing, trim and interior finishing are the builder’s scope.
Worth knowing before you ask
Small orders carry the freight
Freight is charged per container, not per window, so the fewer units on the order the harder it lands. This is the single biggest reason a small project prices worse than people expect, and we would rather you knew now than at quote stage.
A whole house
About $300 per opening
On an 18-unit order, freight works out to roughly $300 a window — a manageable share of the total.
A handful of units
$350 – $600 per opening
Below about ten openings, freight alone runs $350 to $600 per unit before anything else — and under six, more than that.
If you need fewer than about six openings
We will still quote it, and there is no minimum order. But be aware the freight share makes small projects expensive per unit, and for a handful of replacement windows a local supplier will usually serve you better. We would rather say so than sell you something that doesn’t make sense.
Availability
Lead times, published
10 to 14 weeks from confirmed technical drawings.
Not from first enquiry, not from deposit, not from the day you accept the quote — the clock starts when the technical drawings are confirmed. Where you land in that range depends on configuration and finish.
Step 1
Quote
Step 2
Review
Configuration, finish, glazing and hardware confirmed.
Step 3
Technical drawings
Confirmed before anything is fabricated. This is where the 10–14 weeks starts.
Step 4
Delivery
To your site, scheduled against your framing programme.
Order timing matters more than most people expect. Windows are ordered against framing, not against finishing — if the schedule is tight, tell us early and we will work backwards from your dry-in date.
